2016 Milestone: The First 10

In 2016, Jason Johnson brought together our first Program Members and raised funds for their care through grassroots efforts, including the sale of a branded hat, t-shirts, K-9 Flash’s debut book, and donations from personal connections.

With a starting budget of $12,800, Project K-9 Hero took on the care of these dogs and welcomed additional members as the year progressed:
