2025 Milestone: Water
As we continue celebrating our 10th anniversary, 2025 marks another major milestone in the growth of our Project K-9 Hero Rehabilitation & Rehoming Facility. At the end of the year, critical infrastructure began taking shape beneath the surface of our 177-acre campus.
Three-phase electric, a four-inch city water line, and fiber optic cable are now being laid underground throughout the property, work that represents far more than utility upgrades. This phase is essential to advancing the next stage of construction and bringing us closer to completing a fully operational campus designed specifically for retired K-9 Heroes.
Until now, our facility has used collection systems and a well, requiring a lot of manpower to make sure our Heroes and staff have water. A direct connection to city water is a foundational element in creating a safe, sustainable environment.
“As we expand the infrastructure on our 177‑acre campus to include three phase power and most importantly a connection to city water, we’re building a place where retired K‑9 Heroes can heal, decompress, and enjoy the retirement they earned. Every step forward brings us closer to giving them the peaceful, comfortable life they deserve. We’re excited for what’s ahead.” - Roger Haller, Facility Maintenance Manager
