It is with sadness that we let you know we lost one Pack Member in March of 2025. We salute her for her service and will never forget her contributions to our country.

MPC Amie
Program Member #329
It is with an extremely heavy heart that we share in the passing of MPC “Amie” due to her complications from Breast Cancer. Amie was bravely and courageously fighting her diagnosis over the last few weeks, however an extremely unusual blood clotting issue, which can be present in Amie's type of cancer, developed and rapidly worsened to the point where nothing else medically could be preformed to save her.
We at Project K-9 Hero were so honored to give her just a little more time with her Handler and her family that she wouldn’t have had otherwise. A few of her teammates she deployed with while assigned to SEAL Team One, SEAL Team Five, and SEAL Team Seven, made it back just in time to say their final goodbyes, along with her dedicated Veterinary Staff that loved this special Hero very much.
Amie went out with dignity and honor, the way a legendary Navy SEAL like her should: on the beach that she loved, with one last double double from In-N-Out, locked on to a bite suit. What a way to say goodbye to this world on her terms!
Please remember MPC Amie for her years of dedication and commitment to the security of our country! Our hearts and thoughts go out to her Handler, Family, Teammates, and Veterinarians. We at PK9H will Never Let You Be Forgotten!
