Thank you, Murdoch's!

We are so grateful to Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply Stores for starting out this year by once again making us the recipient of their "Round Up" program. From now through February 4th, 2025, Murdoch's customers can donate to our cause by rounding up their purchases.

We wanted to thank Murdoch's for their support, so this week, our Founder, Jason Johnson,  visited four of the Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply Stores in Montana, and he spent some time at their Headquarters Office in Bozeman.

K-9 Zeus, our 313th Program Member, joined Jason for some of the events to help show how funds raised from our national partnerships are being placed back into their local communities.

Our first Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply store visit was at the Laramie, Wyoming location where we were greeted with amazing hospitality by the manager, Shelli, and her team. K-9 Zeus was a huge star! They had a great display table set up by the registers showcasing our 2025 Calendars, REDD Rocket Lip Balm, and Huggle Hounds of K-9 Flash and K-9 Mattis.

Our second Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply store visit was at the Cheyenne, Wyoming location, where we were greeted with a warm welcome by the manager, Trevor, and his dog-loving team. We were able to give an overview of our Project K-9 Hero mission and Zeus’s history, to give each employee a better understanding of our nonprofit.

Our 3rd and 4th stops were at the Casper and Rock Springs, Wyoming locations, where Jason met with store managers Tabitha and Keri, at their respective stores. K-9 Zeus got to meet some young supporters and Jason was able to sign a few of his K-9 Flash Children’s books to give away.

We would also like to express our thanks to Black Gold Explorer Dog Food, who is donating $5 per bag sold from each Murdoch’s Store in conjunction of our “Round Up” at the register campaign.

"We at Project K-9 Hero want to personally thank K-9 Zeus (PK9H #313) and his family for being a part of these store visits with us for two days. Now that he is retired from the Carbon County Sheriff’s Department in Wyoming, being a PK9H Ambassador fits him well.

They have been instrumental in helping us spread awareness and getting our cause out to thousands of people we would have never reached without their help."
