Please Welcome K-9 Cezar, #295

Please welcome K-9 Cezar, as our 295th Program Member inducted into our Project K-9 Hero Pack. Cezar bravely served as a Dual-Purpose Patrol/Narcotics Detection K-9, from 2017 through 2024, with United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service.
During his seven year career with the Forest Service, he was deployed over 300 times, ranging from natural disasters, such as wildland fires, to serving on a Federal Fugitive Apprehension Task Force. K-9 Cezar successfully apprehended dozens of violent criminals, tracked down numerous fleeing suspects, and located hundreds of seizures of illegal narcotics.
On March 23, 2024, K-9 Cezar was retired from federal service. Although he is still two years old in his heart, he is showing signs of severe arthritis, which is placing limitations on his mobility. Regardless of K-9 Cezar’s honorable service to the U.S. Forest Service and to the American People, all of his medical costs are now the responsibility of his handler, who recently had to retire due to exigent circumstances involving his immediate family, placing an extreme financial burden on his ability to provide Cezar with the medical care he needs in retirement.
PK9HERO will now be covering all of his future office visits, diagnostic testing, medications, and surgeries at 100%, for the rest of his life. It is the least we can do for K-9 Cezar, for dedicating his life to helping others.
Please take a moment to welcome K-9 Cezar to the pack as our very first recipient from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. PK9H is here to protect you after all you have done to serve the United States of America
