Please Welcome MPC Lenny #341

Please Welcome Multi-Purpose Canine (MPC) "Lenny" to our Project K-9 Hero Pack as our 341st Program Member!
MPC Lenny spent six years assigned to the U.S. Army's 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne). He served with extreme valor during his career, deploying three times to the Pacific Theater with his fellow Green Berets. He was instrumental in the introduction and development of Multi-Purpose Canine programs for four separate partner force countries. These programs greatly increased our partner forces' ability to detect explosives, as well as tracking and apprehension of enemy combatants.
Lenny was medically retired in 2024 due to injuries sustained during his service. Now retired, Lenny lives with his former Handler, who is also a medically-retired and a disabled combat Veteran. MPC Lenny suffers from anxiety issues and stomach problems from incidents during his service. His ongoing treatment involves special food and medication when he has flare ups.
MPC Lenny has served our country with distinction, but due to ongoing medical needs, and the financial burden these treatments place on his also medically-retired Handler, we are honored to accept MPC Lenny into our program so we can cover all future office visits, prescriptions, and surgeries at 100%, for the remainder of his life. It’s the least we can do for him after all he has done for our country!
Please take a moment to welcome MPC Lenny to our pack, as we are honored to serve another deserving K-9 Hero from the SOF Community!
Our Medical Fund will help ensure that we always have a place to stay for Heroes like Lenny. Please donate today to continue supporting our life-saving abilities.
