Please Welcome (MPC) “Tundra” #296

Please welcome Multi-Purpose Canine (MPC) “Tundra” as the 296th Member of our Project K-9 Hero Pack. MPC Tundra is retired from the United States Navy, where she completed one tour in CENTCOM with SEAL Team Three, serving for a total of four years.
MPC Tundra spent her first year conducting service training and conditioning in preparation to deploy with the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command. At NSW, she specialized in apprehension, tracking, and explosive detection. Her missions included direct action, fast-roping, rappelling, and maritime operations, which included over-the-beach, vessel board searches, and seizure operations, worldwide.
MPC Tundra was highly recognized by her team members who served alongside of her for her loyalty, dedication, commitment, and obedience while serving overseas during the Global War on Terrorism. MPC Tundra’s courage and commitment to her unit led to the safe returns of her team members. Despite being trained as a War Dog, her team members remember her as a loving, comforting member of their family.
MPC Tundra retired in February of 2024, going home with her handler, where she shares her new life with retired MPC Warsen ,who also served in Naval Special Warfare.
MPC Tundra suffers from atypical pannus (autoimmune disorder, where her body attacks her third eyelid). In order to live a more comfortable retirement, Project K-9 Hero has offered to cover all medical expenses for MPC Tundra at 100% for the rest of her life. Her still serving active-duty Navy family greatly appreciates the financial assistance offered by our non-profit organization as this War Dog means the world to them.
Our Medical Fund will help ensure that we always have medical bill payments for Heroes like Tundra. Please donate today to grow our life-saving capacity.
