Please Welcome MPC Warsen #325
Please welcome Multi-Purpose Canine (MPC) “Warsen” (War) as the 325th Member of our Project K-9 Hero Pack. MPC Warsen is retired from the United States Navy, where he completed two tours, one with SEAL Team One, and one with SEAL Team Three, serving for a total of five years.
MPC Warsen spent his first years conducting service training and conditioning in preparation to deploy with the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command. At NSW he specialized in apprehension, tracking, and explosive detection. His missions included direct action, fast-roping, rappelling, and maritime operations, which included over-the-beach, vessel board searches, and seizure operations worldwide.
MPC Warsen was highly recognized by his team members who served alongside of him for his loyalty, dedication, commitment, and obedience while serving overseas during the Global War on Terrorism. MPC Warsen’s courage and commitment to his unit led to the safe returns of her team members. Despite being trained as a War Dog, his team members remember him as a loving, comforting member of their family.
MPC Warsen retired in April of 2022, going home with his assistant handler, where he shares his new life with retired PK9H Pack Member #296 “MPC Tundra,” who also served in Naval Special Warfare.
MPC Warsen suffers from wobbler disease and arthritis. In order to enjoy the pleasures and live a more comfortable retirement, Project K-9 Hero has offered to cover all medical expenses for MPC Warsen at 100% for the rest of his life. His still-serving, active-duty Navy family greatly appreciates the financial assistance offered by our non-profit organization as this War Dog means the world to them.
