Please Welcome Surangi Widyaratne to our Executive Board

Project K-9 Hero is honored to welcome Surangi Widyaratne, to our Executive Board, as our Capital Campaign Director.

Surangi is the Head of School for two prominent and established Montessori schools in Austin, Texas, and has been an educator for over 35 years. She has also served as the Vice President of Governance for the Eanes Education Foundation for several years, and is a member of the Women’s Symphony League. She is a former Board Member of Family Eldercare, and also former President of the Board of Salon Concerts.

Currently, Surangi is a member of the Make a Wish Foundation and Founder of a youth organization that fosters leadership, philanthropy and global citizenship. She believes in working together creating bridges for a global community. She is also a lover of dogs and is excited to be a part of the Project K-9 Hero Pack. Surangi is married, has a son, and makes her home in Austin, Texas.
