Career Stats: K-9 Arlo worked with the Thurston County Sheriff's Office in Washington State. On January 13th, 2021, K-9 Arlo was shot twice in a high-speed pursuit with an armed combative suspect. Arlo recovered after having life-saving surgery, but not enough to return to active duty. Since Arlo was forced into early retirement, all of his bills have become the responsibility of his handler because
there are no public funds set aside for retired K-9 heroes like Arlo. Project K-9 Hero is now covering Arlo's medical bills for life, so that he can have the retirement he deserves after all that he has done for us. We rely on the generosity of donors like you to support these retired heroes.
