PROJECT K-9 HERO EARNS A FOUR-STAR, 100% RATING FROM CHARITY NAVIGATOR

Maximizing the benefits to our nation’s retired K-9 Heroes.

Whitwell, TN, June 28th, 2023 – Project K-9 Hero has been awarded a four-star, 100% rating by the independent, non-profit scoring organization Charity Navigator. 

According to their scoring guide, a four-star rating means that an organization “Exceeds or meets best practices and industry standards across almost all areas. Likely to be a highly-effective charity.” Additionally, getting a rating of 100% means that an organization has achieved maximum points in Charity Navigator's Encompass Rating System, using what it refers to as its “beacon scores,” which include the areas of Accountability & Finance, Leadership & Adaptability, and Culture & Community. Less than 1/10th of one percent of non-profits rated by Charity Navigator earn a perfect score. 

Project K-9 Hero is extremely proud to have achieved the maximum number of points in all areas and is pleased as an organization that any donors can give with confidence, knowing that their donations are being used as intended, with maximum benefit to our nation’s retired K-9 Heroes.
