We Made Space to Save A Life

MWD Bruno was given a date of August 3rd to find a new home, or else he would have been out of all options due to military regulations. That means that a Hero was about to be euthanized because he had nowhere to go.
We did not have space, so we made space. Our staff worked for hours to create an extra kennel area at our Rehabilitation & Rehoming Facility in Whitwell, TN. We shifted the locations of dogs and we were able to open a place in Rosso's old kennel, just for Bruno.
Because Bruno is important.
MWD Bruno served as a Dual-Purpose Patrol/Explosive Detection Dog in the United States Army from 2017 -2024 at Fort Cavazos (Hood), Texas with the 226th Military Police Detachment (MWD). He saved so many lives that we had to save his. And we did that because of your support.
This event with Bruno shows just how important it is that we expand our current facilities through our Capital Campaign. Our plans will more than triple our available kennel space so that we always have a place for Heroes like Bruno.
Please help us ensure that all of our nation's retired K-9 Heroes have a sanctuary when their service ends.
