Happy March to All Our Supporters!
We can't believe winter is over, and it's already spring! That means more time for being outside. And you know what's outside?
The Inaugural K-9 Yoube 5K. Organized by our 2024 Volunteer of the Year, Lorrie Huegel, this event honors our late National Ambassador with something Yoube loved to do: RUN! It's coming up soon, so make sure you register ASAP if you plan to take part, either in person or online.
And don't forget that we will be coordinating the World Police and Fire Games this June 28-30th, 2025 in Birmingham, AL. We are helping to coordinate three categories: the K-9 Biathlon, Explosives Detection, and Narcotics Detection. Proceeds from all three will benefit our organization!
We have a new product in our store to make those warm nights outside with your dog safer: Halo Lights LED Safety Dog Collar! Learn more about it below.
We also have a new partnership with CaNine, which is selling a Hero Pack to help fuel your dogs for all that extra time outside. A portion of every sale comes right back to supporting our Program Members and their families.
And we'd like to give another shout out to Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply stores. We proudly raised $79,000, from January 2nd to February 4th, at the Round-up at the Register campaign. We are so grateful for their donation!
Just recently, we admitted our 331st Program Member, MWD Atina. She needed a life-saving surgery that cost nearly $10,000, which we covered at 100% so she could have more beautiful spring days with her family. If you'd like to donate towards her care, you can do so here.
As always, thank you for your dedicated support of our nation's retired K-9 Heroes. We couldn't do any of this without YOU.
World Police & Fire Games
Registration is now open for all qualified contenders. If you're a first responder with a K-9 partner (professional or personal), consider joining the K-9 Biathlon, Explosives Detection, or Narcotics Detection categories! Part of the proceeds will benefit our K-9 Heroes.

Thank you, Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply!
Murdoch's, for the second time in as many years, made us the recipient of their Round-Up at the Register campaign. They were able to donate to us $79,000, collected in just over a month. They also donated $18,904 through the sales of our collaborative 2025 calendar, and connected us with Black Gold Explorer Dog Food, who raised $5,520 through their in-store promotion in support of our organization. We are beyond honored with your generosity and your efforts to support our nation's retired K-9 Heroes. Thank you so much, Murdoch's!
